About Us

Rennell Community Foundation (RCF) exists for one simple reason:

to help students and young adults build real, stable futures through skilled trades.

We believe success does not come in just one form. For many people, the best path forward is not a traditional four-year college, but hands-on work that leads to real skills, steady income, and pride in what they build. Trades like construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and technical services are essential to our communities—and they need the next generation to step in.

RCF was created to remove barriers and open doors for those who are ready to work, learn, and grow.

Our Vision

Our vision is a future where motivated students can pursue skilled trade careers without being held back by cost, lack of access, or limited guidance.

We imagine communities where young people are confident in their abilities, proud of their work, and equipped with skills that lead to stability, independence, and purpose.

Why We Exist

Too many students are told that college is the only road to success. At the same time, skilled trades are facing a major workforce shortage. These two realities should not exist side by side.

RCF exists to close that gap.

We support individuals who want to learn by doing. People who may not have the resources to pay for trade school, buy tools, or get started—but who have the work ethic and drive to succeed when given the chance.

Tools and Equipment Support

Many trades require upfront investment in tools and safety gear. We help reduce that burden by providing essential equipment so students can start strong and stay focused on learning.

Real-World Exposure

We work to connect students with real job environments, mentors, and hands-on opportunities. Learning on the job builds confidence and prepares individuals for long-term success.

Our Relationship to Rennell Capital Group

Rennell Community Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization.

While RCF was inspired by leaders with deep experience in construction and development, it operates separately from Rennell Capital Group. RCF does not promote, sell, or operate commercial projects.

Our focus is strictly charitable: education, workforce access, and community impact. Any connection to industry exists only to help students gain real-world insight and opportunity—not for business development or profit.

Our Commitment

RCF is community-first. We are here to serve, support, and uplift.

We believe skilled trades deserve respect. We believe opportunity should not depend on background. And we believe that when people are given the right tools and support, they can build futures they are proud of.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do.
